A trainer or an assessor is entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring that their students are thoroughly educated regarding the subject matter, and they are also required to accomplish this in the most efficient manner possible, so that the time nor the effort of neither parties is wasted. Work with integrity
In the profession about which we are discussing, integrity is a must have characteristic and both the parties involved must appreciate each other’s willingness to complete tasks in the right way, rather than the easy way. It might seem easier and faster to take a few short-cuts while you are teaching a student and you might justify such an act by claiming you only wanted to save the students time and the money they pay for it. However, if you don’t use the recommended methods for the training process, no matter how great the VET resources you use are, the pupil will not gain a comprehensive knowledge. Therefore, make it a habit to act with integrity and always take the high road.
You must understand that as a trainer and assessor, you are partly responsible for the productivity of each session and you must do the needful to make sure that the time is utilized in the best possible way. For this it is necessary for you to have a proper plan about when you’re going to begin, how you are going to interact with the student, the exact amount of information that will be communicated, what great RTO assessment are going to be used and when you are going to round up. If a proper plan is not there, you will most likely end up making a mess and being unproductive.
As this is a profession where a trainer and an assessor must directly interact with their students for extended time periods, it is necessary to have a pleasant attitude towards others and treat them with the highest level of respect if you want to succeed. It is important to understand that different people have different capacities and capabilities when it comes to learning and a trainer or an assessor must be intelligent and flexible enough to deal with all these diverse individuals to ultimately generate impressive results.
